Gochujang Lettuce Wraps

Have you ever had one of those lettuce wraps at a restaurant and wish you could make them? I love making my own at home, especially when I'm looking for a light meal. Most recently, I created Gochujang Lettuce Wraps. With a simple sauce made up of Gochujang, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, sesame oil, and mirin and some ground beef, this meal comes together quickly and is delicious. My sons were especially happy with these wraps since they love the Korean Style flavors. It's ideal for those hectic nights when everyone eats at a different time or grabs a little something on the run. I like to make these for a meal, but they're also perfect as a yummy snack.

Ingredients Gochujang Lettuce Wraps:

Meat:

2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon grapeseed oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

Serve with lettuce, cooked white rice, shredded carrots, sliced scallions and sesame seeds

1/4 cup +1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

2 tablespoons fish sauce

It's ready! Gochujang Lettuce Wraps are amazingly flavor and so easy to prepare. I like to put some rice in the lettuce, add the meat mixture, and then sprinkle with sesame seed, carrots, and scallions. The first bite is so good that they're hard to stop eating.

Enjoy!
