The Versatile Vinaigrette not only great, buts to make. It's a tangy, delicious addition to crisp salads and even pasta salads. Feel free to add herbs or shallots.
Ingredients for Versatile Vinaigrette:
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinager
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
A few pinches of cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic minced or put thru a garlic press
Time Saving Tip: This dressing can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before using.

Now we can make the dressing.
Add all of the ingredients except the olive oil to a bowl and combine. Then slow whisk in the extra virgin olive oil. Adjust seasoning. I didn't add salt because I prefer to add salt to my salads. This gives me more control over the overall salt content.
