Instant Pot Korean Beef

My family loves it whenever I prepare any meal in a bowl, so I decided to prepare Instant Pot Korean Beef one chilly evening. Thanks to the Instant Pot, this is the easiest meal and comes together so quickly. Cubes of beef are dressed with a flavorful sauce, including gochujang, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. After a few minutes of cooking, the mixture is made even better when thickened. I love to serve it with steaming white rice garnished with thinly sliced green onions. This meal turned out delicious and has become a new family favorite.



Ingredients for Instant Pot Korean Beef:


Meat:

3.5 -4 pounds chuck cut into 1" pieces

Garnish with 4 green onions, thinly sliced


Sauce:

Combine-

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup minced ginger

6 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons Gochuchang sauce from a bottle

1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 1/2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder


Thickener:

4 tablespoons cornstarch

4 tablespoons water


Serve Instant Pot Korean Beef with white rice.


Tip-Saving Tip: Prep all the ingredients earlier in the day.

We're ready to cook.



Add the meat to the Instant Pot.


Stir in the sauce.






Cover and lock the pot. Cook for 15 minutes on high and naturally release for 5 minutes.






While the beef is cooking, combine the cornstarch and water.



When cooked, set the pot to saute. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and let simmer for a few minutes until thickened. Taste for seasonings and serve.
