Perfect Bloody Mary


I'm so happy that Victoria Fine Foods shared some of their delicious sauces with me. This company is celebrating its 90th Anniversary this year and continues to make its products using fresh vegetables, all-natural ingredients, and a slow cooking process. I was particularly excited to receive a jar of their Fradiavolo, meaning "brother devil," knowing it would be spicy, which I love. Of course, this sauce would be awesome right out of the jar, but in celebration of this special anniversary, I stepped out of my "pasta" box and created the most delicious Bloody Mary. The Fradiavolo Sauce was the star of my drink; all I needed to do was add a few more ingredients. My husband says it's the best Bloody Mary he's ever had, and I agree. Perfect Bloody Mary is ideal for serving at brunch, tailgating parties, and especially throughout the holiday season. Give this a try, and I know you'll love it.


Ingredients for Perfect Bloody Mary:


1 24 ounce jar Victoria Fine Foods Fradiavolo Sauce

water

4 1/2 limes, juiced

1 3/4 teaspoons celery seed

2 1/2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

2 teaspoons + 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup of vodka, more or less to taste

Garnish with celery, lime slices, or cucumber


Time-Saving Tip: Prepare the Perfect Bloody Mary a few hours in advance and keep refrigerated.

Pour the entire jar of sauce into a blender. Then fill the jar with water and add it to the blender, too. Process for a few seconds until well blended.


Transfer the Fradiavolo juice to a pitcher or continue hand mixing the ingredients right into the blender. Once all of the ingredients are added, manually stir with a spoon, do not process it. It's that easy.
