Mango Guacamole

Updated: Jun 19, 2021

I love having something to nibble on when enjoying my Friday night cocktail. And during the summer months, there is nothing better than Mango Guacamole. This creamy avocado dip is everything you want it to be with a little sweetness, thanks to the mango. It's delicious!

Ingredients for Mango Guacamole:

3 Avocados, halved and pit removed

1 mango, diced

3 tablespoons red onion, finely diced

1-2 jalapenos, finely diced

3 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

kosher salt

Serve with tortilla chips

Time-Saving Tip: Have all of the ingredients, except for the avocados, prepped in advance.

Let's see what we need.

We're ready to cook.

Add the avocados to a bowl; sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon of salt. I like to use the back of a fork to mash the avocado against the bowl.

When it is chunky, add the pepper, onion, and cilantro; stir. Now fold in the mango and lime juice. Then give it a stir and taste; add more salt and lime juice as needed.

It's ready! Mango Guacamole comes together so quickly and is the perfect dip to start the weekend. The addition of mango really makes this guacamole special.

Enjoy!
