Turkey-Ham Wrap with Honey Mustard Coleslaw

It's a wrap! Turkey, Virginia Ham, and Jarlsberg make a great sandwich. But with the addition of Honey Mustard Coleslaw, it makes it even better. The crunch of the red cabbage, the sweetness of the honey, and the assertive grain mustard add great flavor and crunch to the wrap. It's a winning combination perfect for lunch, tailgates, and potlucks.

Turkey - Ham Wrap with Honey Mustard Coleslaw:

1 sandwich, easily multiplied

Sandwich:

1 Burrito tortilla

4 slices Virginia Ham

2 slices Turkey

2 slices Jarlsberg

1/2 cup Honey Mustard Coleslaw

handful baby lettuce

Honey Mustard Coleslaw:

enough for 3 wraps

8 ounces cabbage, 1/2 cabbage, thinly sliced

3/4 cup mayonnaise

4 tablespoons whole grain mustard

2 teaspoons honey

2 teaspoons chopped parsley

1 teaspoon milk

Kosher salt

black pepper

Time-Saving Tip: The coleslaw can be made in advance and refrigerated. Bring to room temperature prior to making the sandwich.

Let's see what we need.

We're ready to make the wrap.

In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, mustard, honey, and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Slice the cabbage. Combine the cabbage and the dressing; add the parsley. Set aside.

Heat the ham in a dry pan; turning once. This will only take a minute. It will get some brown marks. I like to heat up the tortillas. It really makes such a difference in taste and texture. I do this by holding it over the flame on my stove. If you do not have a gas stove you can heat the tortilla in the pan once the ham is heated thru.

Place the tortilla on a flat surface. Place the heated ham on a half, followed by the cheese, turkey lettuce, and coleslaw. Roll up the tortilla. Try to make it a tight roll so it will hold together well. Just give it a cut...

It's ready! This is really such a yummy wrap. I love the crunch and the unexpected flavor of the Honey Mustard Coleslaw. Perfect for the lunchbox as well as entertaining.

Enjoy!
