How can it be possible for a vegetarian to have pulled pork? It's easy! With a secret ingredient and Cranberry Walk's Barbecue Sauce, you might even fool a few meat eaters!

No need to keep you in suspense any longer.

Ingredients for Vegetarian "Pulled Pork" Sliders:

20 ounce can of green jackfruit in brine

1 recipe of Cranberry Walk's Barbecue Sauce - You can get the recipe HERE.

Pickles

Slider buns

Cooking spray

Time Saving Tip: Make the barbecue sauce ahead of time so it will be waiting for you in the refrigerator.

Here is what we need to make these sliders.

Now let's get cooking!

So this is what is inside of the can. The green jackfruit is cut into pieces that resemble pineapple slices.

Rinse and drain the fruit.

Now that the jackfruit is rinsed and drain it needs to be "pulled." Just take each pies and pull it apart. Repeat until all of the pieces have been pulled.

The next step is to incorporate the fruit and Cranberry Walk's Barbecue Sauce.

Lightly coat the bottom of a non stick pan with cooking spray. Add the jackfruit. Saute over medium heat for a couple of minutes. Add some sauce. Use as much as you would like. However, try not to over-sauce. You can always add more later. Since the fruit from the can does not have to be cooked, it only takes a few minutes to heat everything up.

Carefully scoop some of the mixture on the buns. Feel free to drizzle with some extra sauce. Top with a pickle or two.

And here it is... vegetarian "pulled pork" sliders. This is delicious and so easy to prepare. Perfect for those busy weeknights.

Enjoy!
