It is no truer than with these delicious ones coated with a mixture of black bean sauce and other goodies. They're crispy, flavorful, and truly hard to resist. These wings are so easy to prepare that they're a must at your next party.
Ingredients for Crispy Wings with Black Bean Sauce:
3 pounds chicken wingettes
6 tablespoons black bean sauce
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon dry Sherry
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chili and garlic sauce
3 scallions, sliced
cooking spray
Time-Saving Tip: The sauce can be made in advance. The scallions can also be sliced in advance. Use disposable pans for easy clean-up.

Let's make the wings.
Combine the black bean sauce, water, dry sherry, ginger, chili and garlic sauce, and hoisin sauce together in a small bowl; set aside.
Preheat the oven to 450-degrees. Coat the disposable pans with cooking spray. Add the wings and spray them with more cooking spray. Place in the oven and roast for about 45 minutes or until desired crispness. Rotate the pans while roasting and flip the wings over midway thru cooking. See what a mess the pan is after they finish roasting? You will be so happy if you use disposable pans. Once cooked start by adding 1/2 cup -3/4 cup of sauce to the wings and toss. You will have a little leftover sauce. Don't over sauce. Transfer to a platter and garnish with the sliced scallions.
