Crispy Skin Salmon


Everyone's favorite fish takes on a new look and taste when it becomes Crispy Skin Salmon. This silky fish transforms into layers of delicious textures with a simple coating of olive oil, a generous sprinkling of salt and pepper, and some high heat. This simple dish is the best! The crisp skin adds both texture and a wonderful flavor to the salmon.


Ingredients for Crispy Skin Salmon:


*4 salmon fillets with skin, thoroughly dried

olive oil

kosher salt

black pepper

non stick pan


*This "recipe" is more of a technique. So it works for one fillet or more.

Thoroughly dry the salmon. Coat both sides of the salmon with olive oil. Season the skin side of the fillets with salt and pepper.


Coat the bottom of the pan with oil. Carefully place the salmon skin-side down in the pan - it will splatter; season with salt and pepper. Cook a few minutes until the skin is crispy and turn over. Cook another 1-3 minutes until salmon to desired doneness.
