Coleslaw is one of those sides I find myself making again and again. It is fresh, crisp, and comes together in just a few minutes. My Everyday Coleslaw is an easy coleslaw recipe tossed in a light and tangy dressing that goes with just about anything. Whether you're grilling, packing lunch, or putting together a quick dinner, this is a simple favorite that fits right in. It's always the perfect BBQ side and welcome at any gathering.
Everyday Coleslaw
Ingredients
For the Salad:
3/4 pound shredded cabbage with some carrots
2 large scallions, thinly sliced
2 ribs of celery, thinly sliced
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
For the Dressing:
Generous 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons unseasoned rice wine vinegar
3/4 teaspoon celery seed
Time-Saving Tip: Make the salad up to two hours before serving.
