After a day of work, errands, and carpooling the last thing you feel like doing is cooking dinner. I will show you how with just a couple of ingredients and the time it takes to heat the grill and make a salad, you can have a great meal, quickly. All I've done is combine shrimp with purchased pesto and finished them off with a squirt of lemon. The shrimp is amazingly delicious and satisfying. It's not only great for dinner but perfect for cocktail parties, too.
Ingredients for Easiest Grilled Shrimp:

1 pound shrimp, 21-25 per pound
1/4 cup purchased pesto
1 lemon
6 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
cooking spray
Times-Saving Tip: The skewers can be soaking all day while you're out and they'll be ready for you when you get home.

Combine the shrimp and pesto and thread the shrimp onto the soaked skewers.
Coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat to medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and flip when they start to turn pink. The shrimp will cook in about 3 -4 minutes; do not overcook. I remove the shrimp from the heat before they are completely pink; they will continue cooking with the residual heat.
