My schedule is pretty full these days, so I'm all about preparing healthy and delicious meals in a short time. The other night I created Easy Gochujang Shrimp. I quickly sauteed shrimp and then tossed it in a sauce made up of Gochujang, fish sauce, soy, rice wine vinegar, and a splash of sesame oil. The shrimp were perfect and dressed in the most amazing flavors.

Ingredients for Easy Gochujang Shrimp:

2 pounds Jumbo Shrimp (21-25 count)

grapeseed oil

kosher salt

black pepper

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1/3 cup sliced scallions

Sauce:

1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon Gochujang

1/4 cup +1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

2 tablespoons light soy sauce

2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 teaspoons sesame oil

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced scallions for garnish.

Time - Saving Tip: Prepare the sauce earlier in the day.

Let's see what we need.

We're ready to cook.

Combine sauce ingredients.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan. Once the pan is very hot, add the shrimp; season with salt and pepper. Saute over high heat until shrimp turns pink, add the sauce. Continue cooking over high heat for another minute, tossing the shrimp in the sauce; the sauce will thicken. Garnish with the sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
