Grilled Rib Eye Steaks with Balsamic Sauce

When grilling season arrives we always get a hankering for a good steak. A family favorite is rib eye since it's full of flavor and so tender. I simply seasoned them with salt and pepper and grilled to perfection. A delicious balsamic sauce drizzled over the meat makes for an outstanding meal.

Ingredients for Grilled Rib Eye Steaks with Balsamic Sauce:

Steaks:

4 boneless rib eye steaks

kosher salt

freshly ground black pepper

Balsamic Sauce:

1 bunch parsley

4-5 garlic cloves

5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

You will need a grill for this recipe.

Time-saving tip: The sauce can be made up to 2 hours ahead; do not refrigerate.

Let's see what else we need.

We're ready to cook.

Chop the parsley and garlic. I usually do it at the same time. Transfer them to a small bowl and add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Give the mixture a good stir and set aside.

About 30 minutes before grilling take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them rest. Preheat the grill to high. Liberally salt and pepper both sides of the steaks and place on the hot grill. After placing the steaks on the grill, cook for about 3-4 minutes until some nice grill marks start to appear. Flip the steaks over and cook for another 3-4 minutes for a perfect medium rare. Let the steaks rest a few minutes before eating.

They're ready! They look amazing and taste incredible. The sauce is so delicious and I think really puts this meal over the top. The balsamic vinegar and parsley add a brightness to the steaks. So fire up the grill this weekend and give it a try.

Enjoy!
