My favorite way to enjoy fish when prepared is with fresh and healthy ingredients. So Healthiest Baked Flounder with Lemon and Garlic is perfect for me. I seasoned the flounder with a bit of melted butter, olive oil, lemon, and garlic. Once cooked, it's sprinkled with some lemon zest and fresh parsley. It's that easy and delicious! And did I mention that this speedy meal also happens to be a healthy one! Happy Fish Friday, everyone.

Ingredients for Healthiest Baked Flounder with Lemon and Garlic:

2 pounds flounder, dried

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons lemon juice

zest of 1 lemon

1 lemon, sliced thin

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves monced gsarlic

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 chopped fresh parsley

Time-Saving Tip: Prepare the side dishes because the fish cooks quickly.

Let's see what we need.

We're ready to cook.

Place the butter in a small bowl and melt in the microwave for a few seconds. Add the oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and season with salt and pepper.

Place the fish and lemon slices on a sheet pan and brush with the butter mixture. Transfer the fish to a preheated 425-degree oven. Bake until done. The fish will flake when moved with a fork. The flounder will take about 8-12 minutes to cook, depending on the thickness of the fish.
