As soon as you bite into this roast beef sandwich you know it's different than others you may have tried. It is a little spicy, crunchy and packed with flavor. This is one of Steven's favorite sandwiches.
Ingredients for Steven's Favorite Roast Beef Sandwich:
1 serving
1/3 pound sliced rare roast beef
2-4 slices of Havarti Cheese
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 ripe tomato, sliced
romaine lettuce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 teaspoons Sriracha
salt
pepper
1 Kaiser roll
Time Saving Tip: You can make the Sriracha mayonnaise for this recipe ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
Let's gather up what we need.
Now we can make the Golden Bear Roast Beef Sandwich.
Combine the mayonnaise and Sriracha in a bowl.
To build the sandwich cut the roll in half. Spread the Sriracha mayonnaise on both halves. Then on the bottom half add as much of the roast beef, cheese, onions, lettuce and tomato as you would like. I find this order of layering the ingredients works best so everything stays in place. Season with salt and pepper.
