Vietnamese Iced Coffee (cà phê sữa đá)

I received a wonderful gift from my friends over at Phin Coffee Club, a family business specializing in Vietnamese coffee's art and tradition. They sent me the most delicious coffee ground from Robusta beans and the Phin Filter. Hot water is poured through the coffee-filled filter, and within minutes the most fragrant, aromatic, and robust coffee is brewed. It's mixed with sweetened condensed milk and poured over a glass filled with ice for the best-iced coffee ever. I was completely delighted with this coffee, hot or cold. It is now my coffee of choice.

Ingredients for Vietnamese Iced Coffee (cà phê sữa đá):

1 serving

2 tablespoons dark roast coffee ( I highly recommend Authentic Vietnamese coffee from Phin Coffee Club)

2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

ice

Phin Filter (I highly recommend The Vietnamese Phin Filter from Phin Coffee Club)

I do not benefit from any purchases from the Phin Coffee Club. I just happen to love their products and the wonderful customer service that I received.

Here is the coffee and the filter.

You will also need sweetened condensed milk.

Pour the condensed milk into a cup or jar. Place the filter on top and add the coffee. Cover with the screen and add a little of the hot water for the coffee to bloom. Once the coffee starts to drip, fill the metal cup with hot water and place the lid on top; in about four minutes, the coffee will have brewed, and the glass cup will be full.

Stir. Once the milk and coffee are combined, pour the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

It's ready! Vietnamese Iced Coffee (cà phê sữa đá) is purely delicious! The rich coffee mixed with sweet milk is irresistible. Tasting is believing.

Enjoy!
